Большинство потребителей (71%) ожидают, что бренды будут способствовать разнообразию и инклюзивности в онлайн-рекламе, но более половины (54%) не чувствуют себя полностью представленными в онлайн-рекламе, согласно исследованию, опубликованному Facebook.

Большинство потребителей более лояльно относятся к брендам, которые выступают за разнообразие и инклюзивность в онлайн-рекламе (59%), и предпочитают покупать у таких брендов (59%). Мета-анализ исследований по продвижению бренда показал, что онлайн-кампании с более разнообразным представлением, как правило, имеют более высокую запоминаемость рекламы.

Выводы Facebook подтверждают, что разнообразие и инклюзивность в онлайн-рекламе могут помочь брендам взаимодействовать с потребителями и обеспечивать лучшие бизнес-результаты, однако маркетологам все еще необходимо решить проблему искаженной представленности и недопредставленности.

Женщины более чем в 14 раз чаще демонстрируются в открытой одежде и почти в семь раз чаще подвергаются визуальной или вербальной объективизации. Мужчины чаще, чем женщины, изображаются злыми (в 2,4 раза) и реже изображаются счастливыми (в 1,4 раза). Между тем люди с ограниченными возможностями и члены сообщества ЛГБТК + «сильно» недопредставлены в онлайн-рекламе — 1,1% и 0,3% соответственно.

Исследование, проведенное в партнерстве с Институтом Джины Дэвис по гендерным вопросам в средствах массовой информации основывалось на опросе 1200 человек, обзоре более 1200 исследований жизни брендов и анализе 1022 глобальных роликов в Facebook.
