Антимонопольный контроль Польши заявил, что российский ОАО «Газпром» и пять компаний, финансирующих строительство идущего в обход Украины газопровода, недостаточно сделали, чтобы проект соответствовал польскому законодательству. Ввиду чего, Польша выступает против расширения основного газового канала из России в Германию, утверждая, что это усугубит зависимость Европы от российских поставок и нанесет ущерб транзитным странам, какой является Украина.

Газпром в 2016 году заключил соглашение с Royal Dutch Shell Plc, подразделением Wintershall BASF SE, Uniper SE, OMV AG и Engie SA о расширении пропускной способности существующего Северного потока. Но польский регулятор заблокировал создание совместного предприятия этих фирм, сославшись на опасения, что это будет мешать конкуренции на газовом рынке страны и Европы, в целом.

Польский регулятор назвал предоставленные Газпрому европейскими компаниями кредиты, «очевидной попыткой обойти отсутствие согласия на создание компании, финансирующей строительство газопровода». У вышеперечисленных европейских компаний есть 21 день, чтобы уйти от финансирования этого проекта, если же этого не произойдет, регулятор примет решение о наложении штрафов.

«Наша цель - не блокировать проект, а обеспечить соблюдение закона, но в то же время проект может быть отложен на время, - заявил глава регулирующего органа Марек Нихчал. - Для нас эта процедура является прецедентом, поскольку кто-то пытается обойти предыдущее решение, просто перекрасив его».

Engie и Uniper отказались от комментариев, OMV не смог сразу прокомментировать, в то время как Shell и Wintershall заявили, что они еще оценивают претензии польского регулятора, говорится в статье Bloomberg.

Российская фирма “повара Путина” не признает себя виновной во вмешательстве в президентский выборы в США, сообщает информагентство Reuters.

«Мы не признаем себя виновными. Мы используем право на скорый суд», - заявил во вторник адвокат по защите прав Эрик Дубелиер, защищающий в американском суде российское ООО «Конкорд Менеджмент и Консалтинг».

Конкорд является одним из трех юридических лиц и 13 физлиц, обвиненных в феврале офисом специального прокурора Роберта Мюллера. Согласно представленному заключению следователей, Конкорд контролируется российским бизнесменом Евгением Пригожиным, который имеет обширные связи с российским военным и политическим истеблишментом.

В обвинительном заключении отмечается, что другая фирма Пригожина «Конкорд Кейтеринг» контролировала финансирование, подбор персонала и курировала деятельность Питерской «фабрики троллей». Дубелье сказал суду, что он не уполномочен представлять интересы Конкорд Кейтеринг.

Выслушав заявление адвоката, судья Дж. Майкл Харви (G. Michael Harvey), назначил слушание по делу на 16 мая.

Трамп не знал о финансовых сделках своего адвоката Майкла Коэна, пишет издание Business Insider со ссылкой на Руди Джулиани, члена юридической команды президента в расследовании российского сговора.

Согласно вчерашнего заявления Джулиани, Трамп был не в курсе всех финансовых операций Essential Consultants LLC, которую во вторник обвинили в получении $500 000 от российского олигарха Вексельберга. Эти деньги пошли на компенсацию молчания порнозвезды Сторми Дэниелс за ее отношения с Трампом.

«Президент не знал об этом, - сказал Джулиани. - Президент не участвует ни в каком отношении. Это, насколько я знаю, мертвый вопрос».
