Європейська комісія розпочала офіційне провадження проти платформ контенту для дорослих Pornhub, Stripchat, XNXX та XVideos за підозрою в порушеннях Закону про цифрові послуги (DSA), а саме: порушенні правил захисту дітей. Про це йдеться в пресрелізі.

Підозри стосуються насамперед того, що платформи не мають надійної перевірки віку користувачів для захисту неповнолітніх від контенту для дорослих, а також не оцінили можливих ризиків для психічного і фізичного здоров’я неповнолітніх. Якщо провину сайтів доведуть, це вважатиметься порушенням правил ЄС (DSA), які зобов’язують онлайн-платформи дбати про безпеку дітей.

Паралельно Єврокомісія вирішила більше не вважати Stripchat «дуже великою онлайн-платформою», бо сайт не мав достатньої кількості користувачів у ЄС протягом року, щоб вважатися «дуже великим». Однак навіть після цього сайт має дотримуватись загальних правил, зокрема щодо захисту неповнолітніх. Нагляд за дотриманням законів покладаються на регулятора Кіпру, де зареєстрований Stripchat.

Тепер Єврокомісія поглибить розслідування, збиратиме докази, ставитиме додаткові запитання, проводитиме інтерв’ю чи перевірки. Вона може вжити тимчасових заходів, якщо сайти не виконають вимог, або погодитися на їхні обіцянки виправити ситуацію.

Єврокомісія і держави-члени ЄС розробляють спеціальний застосунок для перевірки віку користувачів, який представлять влітку 2025 року. Його зможуть використовувати сайти, щоб упевнитися, що користувачу більше за 18 років, не збираючи особистих даних.

  • У квітні Велика Британія представила нові правила контролю за безпекою дітей в інтернеті. Серед них — системи ідентифікації віку для користувачів й обмеження частин застосунку, сайту або загалом доступ до нього, якщо там є шкідливий контент.
  • У багатьох країнах світу посилюють заходи для захисту дітей в інтернеті. Європейський Союз через Закон про цифрові послуги зобовʼязує платформи, як-от TikTok, мінімізувати ризики для неповнолітніх. У Франції заборонили створювати акаунти дітям до 15 років без згоди батьків, а США та Австралія посилюють контроль за збором даних і вимагають видаляти шкідливий контент. Такі ініціативи — відповідь на зростаючу загрозу онлайн-насильства і кібербулінгу
